9. Cherish Every Gift

Cherish every gift whether or not it initially delights you. The LORD must withhold some of the gifts that you would choose if in receiving such gifts your heart would be overwhelmed. If you are not yet ready—if your heart would cling to a gift—the gift is withheld for a time. The heart must cherish the Giver, not the gift. A gift cannot truly be enjoyed when it is a necessity. When the receiver must have it, all enjoyment flees away.

8. Giver vs. Gift

Do not worship a gift. Never allow yourself to love a gift more than you love the Giver. Enjoy the gift for the sake of the Giver and then return the gift—pour it out as a drink offering for the Giver’s sake lest your desire for the gift is allowed to ensnare and entangle your heart of hearts. In returning the gift to the Giver, you allow the Giver to lavish you with ever increasingly wonderful gifts. With each surrender of this type, the depth of your mutual love and devotion increases. With each new yielding, you allow the Giver to further till the soil of your heart to an increasing level of fertility thus yielding a greater abundance of fruit in the lives of others. Never cling to a gift. Make a habit of release.

6. Sexual Energy

Sexual energy is a powerful tool in the LORD’s hands. As the Holy Spirit co-opts your sexual energy, the LORD is able to use your life—its freedom, joy, vitality, and exuberance—to win souls. Your lack of inhibition, your creativity, and your spontaneity all allow you to be the Spirit’s avatar within Satan’s realm. Give the LORD complete freedom to use your life—affirm, encourage, validate, accept, and allow others to find the true abundance that Jesus intends. The two dangers are self-interest and self-reliance. Withholding body, mind, or spirit from the LORD’s unhindered use is sin.

5. Parents

I, the LORD, am your Father and Mother. I bring you into abundant Life. I nurture you. You learn from how I do things and from who I AM. You have a name—MY NAME—and you belong eternally to me. You owe your ability to make your way through this twisted world to the strength you derive from belonging to me. As an orphan you would be deprived of this strength. Seek never to deprive your own sons or daughters of the strength of both of their parents. They will need the consistent nurture of both to make their way forward in strength. Only by abiding in the love and trust of both a primary male and a primary female will they be able to adequately pattern themselves and thus derive what is necessary from both natures.

4. Few Are Called

The earth is designed to sustain the number of people who are ready for the wedding feast. The LORD is ready with winnowing fans. The angels stand at either side of the LORD, ready to separate the sheep from the goats. The Eternal Judge sits on the Judgment Seat. The seal waits to be broken. The scroll waits to be read. The enemy gathers his minions around himself seeking to thwart the LORD’s purposes. The enemy seeks desperately to trip up, deceive, and swindle as many as possible of the LORD’s elect. Your purpose is to focus on the needs of your Friend, the Bridegroom. Be His faithful companion. Heed His instructions. Do not be cowed by the enemy. Boldly yet calmly carry out your appointed tasks. Abide. Receive. Connect. Focus. Enjoy. Sing. Dance. Live. Throw off every burden. Call the guests to the wedding feast. Pray for all eyes to be opened.

3. Heavenly Bodies

The appearance of your heavenly body will match the quality of your transformed spirit. When you meet others in the heavenly realm, enjoy each person and each situation for the sake of the KING. Be poured out completely for His sake.

2. The Voice of the Bridegroom

Upon hearing the voice of the Bridegroom, a prepared soul’s natural inclination is to sell everything and follow. To be prepared, we must release every hindrance, every attachment, and go completely in freedom into the upper room that has been prepared for the wedding feast. All is now ready! The Bridegroom has arrived and is calling us!

1. Keep Your Lamps Ready

The LORD will not wait for those whose lamps have gone out. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving. Enter into His courts with praise! The LORD has tarried for your sake. Rejoice, for now the time finally has come! All those you bind will be bound. All those you release will be released. Everything that you include will be included. Everything that you exclude will be excluded. Go out into the highways and byways. Send the invitations. Call the guests. As you call, discern excellence, beauty, and perfection. Extend the invitation to every willing heart. Call the elect. Send word to the anointed. Join and call others to the unending Embrace—the perpetual Fellowship of the KING. All people and things that your heart loves are included. Remember and heed well: Every preparation has been made for the purpose of honoring the Bridegroom. All purposes are contained in the one true purpose: Bring honor and glory to His Holy Name. Commence!
